Water restrictionsAs you may know Cape Town and the Western Cape are currently experiencing a severe water shortage due to a drought. Our tip to tourists: be mindful of the drought but do visit. You would still be able to enjoy the diverse and world-class experiences Cape Town and surroundings has to offer.

Trem-Y-Don B&B is equipped and able to deal with the current water crisis. Guest will be able to shower, use the toilet and maintain their daily hygiene. Mandated guidelines suggest a shower of no longer than 2 minutes. We will provide drinking water for all our guests. Our swimming pool is also working.

Most restaurants and bars will still be in operation and tourist will still be able to access and enjoy primary tourism attractions such as our iconic Table Mountain, Cape Point and Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. Specific river-based experiences may be impacted. All critical emergency services (hospitals, clinics, police services) will continue to function.
